William Harold Simmes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Harold Simmes (Great Falls, Montana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Simmes and Margaret Simmes (Gurnsey); and his sister Ellie (Eleanor Bush). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Simmes (Waggoner); his daughters, Theresa Neuman (Tim), Tina Harwood (Mark) and Trisha Taule (Curt); his grandchildren, Shane Neuman (Bethany), Raysha Neuman, Cole Neuman (Bryn), Emily Harwood, Eric Harwood, Kade Harwood, Kaylee Schenck (Ryan) and Nolan Taule; his great grandchildren, Genevieve Neuman, Francis Neuman, Olivia Neuman, Karsin Schenck and Ridgely Neuman; his brother John Simmes (Nancy); and his brothers-in-law, Ken Morrison, Duane Dengel and Bill Waggoner.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elks Club (500 1st Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59401).
