“I worked with Barbara here in Bakersfield, Ca. We shared many laughs and lunches along with hardships and tears. I helped her move from Shafter into Bakersfield and helped her post her boxes when she was moving from Bakersfield to Hamilton. The stories she shared of her life were so interesting to me. I told her she needed to write a book. When her husband passed it difficult for her. We kept in touch after she moved, just not enough. I will miss her presence in my life as, I am sure, many will.”
