He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ash and Anna Bryson Ash Hughes; his wife Shirley Morrison Ash; his daughters, Vicki Ash and Patti Wolf; his grandson Andrew Topilko; and his siblings, Delbert, Dale and Idella.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Topilko (Garry) of Peoria, AZ, Lindi Gueldenhaar of Hamilton and Randy Ash of Hamilton; his son-in-law Tom Wolf of Thompson Falls; his grandchildren, Toby, Caleb (Nathan), Levi, Aaron Gueldenhaar, Chantel, Jared Wolf (Brittney), Meghann Travis (Robert) and Matthew Topilko; and his great grandchildren, Talina, Linley, Rodrin, Dalland Wolf, Anastasia Gueldenhaar and Ezra Travis.
