He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Wright Jeffers and Justine Edith Stephenson Jeffers; his brothers-in-law, Larry Bishop and Ron Thompson; his sister Helen Rae; his brother-in-law Elmer Haas; his brother Hale; and his sister-in-law Terry Jeffers.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Wiley; his daughter Carrie Mereness (Glenn); his grandchildren, Rebekah Giesbrecht (Tyler) and Coulter Mereness; his great grandchildren, Roy Giesbrecht and Alethia Giesbrecht; his children, Ginger Hepp (Chris) and Cedar Jeffers; his grandchildren, Trevor, Ted and Lucy Jeffers; and his sisters, Theresa Thompson and Donna Lee Bishop. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
