Carole Falcon Chandler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Falcon Chandler of Harlem, Montana, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George Falcon and Mae Falcon (DeCelles); her siblings, Ron and Carmen Jean; her adoptive mother Regina Brave Bull; and her daughter-in-law Lynette Chandler.
She is survived by : her husband Al Chandler; her children, Dr. Sean Chandler, Scott and Dawn; her adoptive son Ferlin Clark (NM); her sister Elaine (Charles) McLaughlin (ND); her grandchildren, Hayes, Hunter, Roam, Wozek and Serena; and her great grandchildren, Blaze and Ember.
A wake was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Red Whip Center. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In recognition of her achievements, Carole was awarded an honorary doctorate in education from Montana State University for "her outstanding leadership at Fort Belknap College, her contribution to tribal colleges, and her efforts to preserve the Aaniiih language.".
