He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Haas and Clara Haas (Champagne); his son Brandan Haas; his siblings, Ronald Haas, Beverly Haas, Rodney Haas, Kenneth "Robin" Haas and Judy Osborne; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Mona Belle Opperud; and his sister-in-law Virginia Naber.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Haas of Havre; his children, Jeanette Wierzbicki (Josh) of Havre and Shelcee Graves (Nathan) of Havre; his grandchildren, Madi Graves, Jalyn Kinsella (Jarah) and Jadyn Wierzbicki; his siblings, Daryle Bradley (Steve), Randy Haas (Mardi) and Timothy Haas (Wanda); and his in-laws, Carol Graham (Pat) and Duane Naber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
DeWayne's family has suggested memorial donations be made to Bear Paw Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
