Hila V. Stevens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hila V. Stevens of Havre, Montana, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Peterson and Helen Peterson (Metzker); and her brothers, Jack and Arnie Peterson. She is survived by: her husband David M. Stevens of Havre; her children, Trina Fortney (Kerry) of Bozeman, Kim Wattam of Washington State and David W. Stevens of Palm Springs, California; her grandchildren, Kimberlee Pritchett, Riley Fortney (Julia), Deirdre Fortney and Jessa Miller (Mark); and her siblings, Edith Tidrick of Brentwood, Charlis Carpenter of Havre, Jody Peterson (Don) of Havre and Charles "Bud" Peterson (Beverly) of Havre. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Hila's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
