We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 79, John Duane Hecker of Havre, Montana, born in Everett, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Duane Hecker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Adam Hecker and Lillian Hecker (Peterson); his sister Pat Teschner; his siblings-in-law, Marie Church, Joann Schwanz, Larry Eaton, Marvin Manske, Arnold Moum and Dale Moum; and his wife Alison Moum of Havre.

He is survived by : his sons, Laef (Shannon) of Southaven, MS and Eric (Sissy) of Grand Junction, CO; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Beth), Lance (Danica), Delaney, Allen and Abby; his stepgrandchildren, Destiny, Doran, Sierra and LJ; his great grandchildren, Reatha and Laef Remy; his siblings, Nancy Manske, Caroll Eaton and David Hecker; and his nieces, LeeAnn Dunn (Chris), Stacie Brown (Spencer) and Sarah Vetter. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (303 6th Ave, Havre, MT 59501).

John's family has suggested memorial donations be made to Havre Senior Center or First Lutheran Church.
