He was predeceased by: his father George William Pehl Jr.; his grandparents, Floyd, Freda Schmitt, George and Jane Pehl; and his uncle Leo Schmitt.
He is survived by: his mother Madeline Carol Schmitt; his uncle Jim; and his stepfather Doug Engelking. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
