It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Jay Whitehorse (Havre, Montana), who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Whitehorse, and Janice Whitehorse, Sr. (Caulder); his grandparents, John, Julia Whitehorse and Agnes Gopher; his aunt Viola; his brothers, Emil Longneck and Joseph Whitehorse, Jr.; and his uncles, Melvin, Robert and Russell Gopher.
He is survived by: his children, Jaylee Jo Whitehorse of Great Falls and Leonard Whitehorse, Jr. of Bozeman; and his siblings, Donald "Ducky" Whitehorse of Havre, Tammy Williams of Whitefish, Mavis Whitford (Don) of Evergreen, Valerie "Buggy" Twoteeth of Helena and Julia Whitehorse of Wyoming. He is also survived by one granddaughter; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
A wake was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (499 Mission Taylor Rd, Box Elder, MT 59521). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
