He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Laddie, Helen Nepil, Hjalmer and Pearl Larson. He is survived by : his parents, Doug Larson and Lorraine Larson; his former life partner Kim Berg; his sons, Kaden and Kenton; his sister Erika Ward (Joe); his nieces and nephews, Erin, Taylor, Hunter and Braden; his significant other Jeri Zorn; and his partner's children, Ryker and Cole. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mark's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his memory to Havre Youth Hockey, First Lutheran Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
