She was predeceased by: her parents, Gudrun Hoiland and Elling Hoiland; her husband Leonard Mahlum; her sons, Jerry and Steve; and her siblings, Elmer, Gary and Jennie Luttswager.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bernice Guemmer (Phil) and Joanne Ingram (Jim); her son Tim Mahlum (Deb); her daughters-in-law, Deb Mahlum and Nancy Bruce (Dewey); her brother-in-law Joe Mahlum; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Higgins (Geoff), Matthew Mahlum (Becca), Ashlee Shorten (Nate), Kellen Mahlum (Kimberlie), Shad Mahlum (Mel) and Teah Mason (Noel). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
