She is survived by: her former husband William E. Mankin (Bill); her husband Gary R Saarela; and her children, Anna (Steven), Shafer, Wendy (Roy), Peterson, Shane (Peggy) and Gary Mark Saarela.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (210 Sierra Rd W, Helena, MT 59602). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
