As Edith departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edith. Though Edith may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roope (Edie Roope) and Marguerite Roope; her significant other Tim; and her grandparents, Leroy, Ida Bucy, Ray and Edith Roope.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Cote (Lisa), Mike Cote (Raquel), Lisa Kainz (Fred) and Chelsey Moyer (Ed). She is also survived by her grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Retz Funeral Home (315 E 6th Ave, Helena, MT 59601).
