The family announces the passing of Ethel A. Dickman of Helena, Montana on August 22, 2026. Ethel, born on July 20, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Hefenieder (Yost) and George Hefenieder; her husband Charles Dickman; her stepdaughters, Terri Smith and Debbie Supola; her sister Carol Walter; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Walter, Wallace Fox, Eugene Padilla and Lorrie Hefenieder.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vivian Fox of Forest Grove, OR, Christine Padilla of Cody, WY, George Hefenieder and Jim Hefenieder (Carol) of Billings, MT; and her friends, Julie, Tracie, Denise, Vicki, Bev, Deb, Bobbi, Ann and Sandy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew; cousins; and many, many dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home (3750 N Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mountview Cemetery (1704 Central Ave, Billings, MT 59102).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pilgrim Congregational Church, 409 South 36th St in Billings, Montana 59101 or to the organization or charity of choice.
