He was predeceased by: his parents, C. G. Sherley and Claudia Fay Sherley; and his siblings, Linda Ainsworth, Jamie Kay Rhodes, James Rhodes and Vivian Sherley.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Kiteley (Jeff), Jay Sherley (Anita), Jeri Markworth (Chuck), Sheri Niemiec (Rick), Dutch Sherley (Robin), Jacie Sherley and Dusty Sherley (Jeri). He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pavilion (5827 US-12, Helena, MT 59602).
