She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Winslow Hakes and Vern Hakes; and her brother Donald Hakes. She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Griffith (Laura) and Lani Griffith Porter; her granddaughter Rachel Porter; her siblings, Joyce Long and Richard Hakes; her niece Linda Harris (Neal); and her nephews, John Long (Lorri) and David Rikustid.
