It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Sampson of Helena, Montana, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John "Jack" Whelan; and her parents-in-law, Bob and Patsy Sampson. She is survived by: her mother Roberta "Bobbie" Whelan; her husband Mike Sampson; her children, Pat Sampson (Sarah), Kiely Thoen (Bob) and Shaun Sampson (Mariah); her grandchildren, Shane, Bryce, Chase, Lane, Kalan, Kyler, Miles, James and Emily; and her siblings, Joan Whelan, Mary Crowe (Mike), John Whelan, Janet White (Brian), Bob Whelan (Lana), Bill Sampson (Kathy), Pat Sampson, Bob Sampson (Missy), Dan Sampson (Jill) and Scott Sampson (Shannon). She is also survived by her aunts, uncle and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
