She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Peter Mousel and Therese Mousel (Bogner); her siblings, Martha Mousel and Martin Mousel; and her brother-in-law Mark Moberley.
She is survived by: her husband David Brent Heetderks; her daughters, Anne Sample (Andy) and Jean Harris (Tom); her grandchildren, Avery and Douglas; her siblings, Mary Mousel, Paula Boroni (Chris), Rachel Moberley, Rebecca Robinson, Michael, David (Melissa), Richard (Maria Winslow), Andrew (Kristi) and Eric Mousel (Sheila); Carol Mousel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Heetderks family will bring boxes and supplies to the memorial so guests can create shoeboxes in Monica's memory.
