It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nikki S. DeWolf of Helena, Montana, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nikki S. DeWolf to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Sassano and Armelda Sassano (Phillips); and her sisters, Mary Jo Sassano and Julie Sassano Robbins (Joe DeWolf). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robert, Wesley, Paul and Nicole Carlson; her siblings, Jan Funston (Mike Boman), Mike Sassano (Samantha Allen) of Whispering Pines, NC, Gina Dowdy (Mark) of Helena and Pat Sassano (Amy) of Helena; and her siblings' children, Ian Anderson, Kristina Robbins, Kacey Boyle (Tim), Brian Kalgaard, Paul Kalgaard, Alexander Sassano, Angelina Sassano, Madeline Allen, Isabelle Allen, Micheala Dowdy (Ragen Shein), Connor Dowdy, Josephine Dowdy (Dylan Nelson), Luke Dowdy, Will Dowdy, Colin Sassano (Kyndall Keller), Cale Sassano and Cohen Sassano.
A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home (3750 N Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cathedral of Saint Helena (530 N Ewing St, Helena, MT 59601). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Montana State Veteran's Cemetery (3550 Heroes Rd, Helena, MT 59636).
