He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Wesley and Alice Lorraine Spear; and his stepson Andrew Dooling. He is survived by: his friend Jim Reynolds; his wife Ann Dooling; his children, Rachel Baker (Stephen) and Michael Spear (Christin); his grandchildren, Lillian, Jay and Zachary; his son Christopher Spear; his stepsons, Steven, Thomas and Joseph Dooling; his former wife Lana Rae; and his siblings, Randy Spear (Janice Munsell), Kimberley Spear (Michael), Kirtlye Spear (Neil Powell) and Allison Harmon (Jerry).

Terry died of Alzheimer's early in the morning of December 1st.
