Vijaya Lakshmi Vellanki Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Vijaya Lakshmi Vellanki of Helena, Montana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vijaya may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr R. Rao Vellanki; and her sons, Kishore and Mohan Vellanki. She is survived by: her children, Roy Vellanki (Padma) and Latha Sri Vellanki (Andrew Pida); her grandchildren, Kevin Vellanki, Nina Pida (Luke McCulloch), Nicholas Pida (Jaycee Hamlin) and John Pida; and her great grandchild Mira June McCulloch.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Vijaya's legacy with a donation to. Special Olympics of Montana or your favorite charity.
