He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dirkson and Sylvia Dirkson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Doris Pallett; his brother Chuck Dirkson; his siblings-in-law, Katie Dirkson and Larry Yaeger; and his nieces and nephews, Laurie Anderson, Ellen Cerovski, Brent Dirkson, Brian Halverson, Roxann Howser, Dean Pallett, Betsy VanRaam and Austin Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Marcy; his siblings, Ted Dirkson (Irene), Joe Dirkson (Pat), Jerry Dirkson (Sharon) and Diana Zins (Brian); his siblings-in-law, AnnaMarie Dirkson, Betty Yaeger and Donald Pallett (Donna); his daughters, Kim Hayes (Tom) and Stacy Dirkson-Leitner; his grandchildren, Joe (Brandy), Pat, Ashley Hayes and Colt Leitner; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Rockwell, Kennedi and Kieran Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
