She was predeceased by : her parents, Elvin Hale and Evelyn Hale; her brother Malcolm Hale; and her grandchildren, Monica Preston, Anthony Preston and Jonathon Preston.
She is survived by : her former life partner Larry Preston of Sheridan; her husband Lowell "Skip" Joy; her children, Duncan Preston (Ellen), Shelley Greening, Evelyn Nilsen (Ken), James Preston (Margaret), Michael Preston (Wendy) and Elisabeth Penney (Bill); and also Duncan. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mom's name to Luc Boys Ranch in Lampe, MO or St. Jude's (or other charity of your choosing).
