He is survived by: his wife Rachel P Stahl of Red Willow; his children, Joe Hofer (Julie) of Kearney, NE, Paul Hofer (Rachel) of Sumatra, MT and Dot Schueler (Nick) of Huntley, MT; his grandchildren, Melissa, Nathaniel, Brian, Jenny, Heidi, Travis, Caleb and Bethany; and his great grandchildren, Ellie-Rae and Dietrich.
