He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Ben" Wesley Kupfner and Marjorie May Kupfner (Abernathy); his brother James Kupfner; and his granddaughter Madalyn Grace Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Kupfner (Gordon); his children, Ron Kupfner of Laurel, Montana and Traci Tilstra (Mark); his sibling Bridges (Montana); his children, Kent Kupfner (Laura) of Great Falls, Montana and Toni Atkins (Mike) of Joliet, Montana.; his grandchildren, Bobbi Kupfner (Ryan), Nikki Kupfner (Kevin), Matt Tilstra (Heather), Mikayla Keller (Jack), Austin, Kolton, Ethan Kupfner, Dawson Bancroft (Delaney), Kaitlyn Bancroft, Carson and Delaney Atkins; his great grandchildren, Lila Keller and Evan Tilstra; Joe Law, Sandy (Tony), Nicol, Tiffany and Jackie Law.
