He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyons and Irene Lyons (Roder); his wife Vicki Lyons (Hill); his son-in-law Ricky Peterson; his granddaughter Tia Marie; his great grandchild Saydee Lee; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Jenson, Timothy Hill, James Hill and Russ Fraleigh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Peterson, Laura Burk (Stan), Wendy Williams (Greg), Kim Allen (Gregg) and Sara Varnum (Seth); his siblings, Jeanne Jenson, Chris McGuire (Chuck), Karen Horak (Frank), Robin Kroeger (Chuck) and Joe Lyons (Linda); his grandchildren, Tanner (Mandi), Dillon (Brianna), Jordan (Cassidy), Tyler (Amanda), Gina (Felipe), Jarrett (Jaya), Kayla (CJ), Tiffany, Carli (Grady), Read (Karissa), Braiden and Trista (Kaden); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Balyne, Gavin, Wyatt, Henry, Cutler, Adam, Jesse, Olivia, Link, Cohen, Adler, Kylee, Corbyn, Kasen, Kimber, Ryder, Rayce, Revvyn and Rhenley.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to Eureka Volunteer Fire department in honor of David L. Lyons.
