With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Herron (Kalispell, Montana), who passed away on April 12, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jack had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jack may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Lewis Herron and Olive Rose Wiggill; and his daughter Cheri. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Laurren Wise; his children, Laurie Herron (Katie Mink), Suzie Willmore (Robert) and John Herron; and his brother Clark Herron (Susan). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

“Jack was my 8th grade teacher at evergreen school. I got my share of swats from him with the wooden paddle. I deserved them all lol. Worked on his family ranch back in the day harvesting hay. I have fond memories of him. Rest in peace Brother Herron. Don Kaltschmidt”
