She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Smith and Wanda Smith; her husband John Korpi; her children, Salena (Mark), Matt (Lisa), Nick (Jennifer) and John (Laurie); her grandchildren, Rachel, Erin, Jean (Collin) and Sarah (Josh); her daughter Cindy; her grandchildren, Aira (James) and Kirsten (Darin); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Aspen, Kaiya, Corbin, Hazel, Cedar and Colson.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
