He was predeceased by : his parents, John Smith and Mabel Smith; and his brother Leon Smith. He is survived by : his wife Cheri; his daughters, Chelly Reesor (Sheldon) of North Ogden, UT, Teresa Manthe (Ram) of Portland, OR and Patti Elam (Lance) of Kalispell, MT; and his siblings, Bill Smith (Betty), Dave Smith (Maggie) and Alice Redmon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
