He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Fern Nelson; and his siblings, Melvin Nelson, Duane Nelson, Orland Nelson and Rosemary Christophersen.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Meuli; his pet Cat; his brother Arden Nelson (Janet); and his children, Raymond Nelson (Kelli), Kathy Dolberg (Kent), Betty Nelson, Sharon Talbot, Alan Nelson (Nedda) and Nancy Farrier (Merle).
