She was predeceased by: her parents, Molly Ostwalt (Thiel) and Henry Ostwalt; her husband Melvin; and her siblings, Helen, Martha, Esther, Henry Jr., Harold and John.
She is survived by: her children, Candace Kautz (Dan) and Tim; her siblings, Judy Frank, Conrad Ostwalt and Gene Ostwalt (Dianna); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Anderson and Ellie; and her brother-in-law Norman Aman (Isabelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith West Chapel (304 34th St W, Billings, MT 59102). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The diagnosis for Parkinson's and its effects took away those simple joys and her independence.
