He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, Susie Kemmis (Greg) of Billings, MT and Barry Bender (Kim) of Worden, MT; his grandchildren, Kortney Vierthaler (Kyle) of Billings, MT, Kam Kemmis of Billings, MT and Grace Behrman of Bozeman, MT; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Cohen Vierthaler, Hallie, Zayne and Fulker; his pet Luca; and his siblings, Dolores Scott of Nebraska and Kenny Bender of Billings, MT..
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (226 Wicks Ln, Billings, MT 59105). Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Parish (226 Wicks Ln, Billings, MT 59105). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
