With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Akerstrom (Laurel, Montana), born in Billings, Montana, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter M. Christensen and Eleanor; and his sister Susan Mettler. He is survived by : his daughters, Kayte Sease, Lisa Wilson (Dave), Jennifer Montiel (Frank) and Andrea Akerstrom; and his wife Peggy. He is also survived by his four daughters, eighteen grandchildren, and twenty eight great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Word of Life Church (1737 King Ave W, Billings, MT 59102). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 11:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
