She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur J. Cormier and Alta E. Cormier. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Scott (Suzy), Joseph Todd (Pam) and Perry John (Janet); and her grandchildren, Katie Fyfe (Lance), Samantha Smith (Tyson), Emily Johnson (Justin), Casey Vandersloot (Kim), Cody Vandersloot (Eric), Cassandra Wermann (Bryce), Alyssa Vandersloot and Levi Vandersloot (Lindsay). She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren and many adored nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Smith Funeral Chapel - Laurel (315 E 3rd St, Laurel, MT 59044). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bighorn Historical Society or Mt. Highway Patrol Project Hope.
