She was predeceased by : her parents, Thecla Meuchel and Vincent Meuchel; her husband Donald Severson; her sons, Anthony Severson and William Severson; her siblings, Vincent Meuchel, Edward Meuchel, Jim Meuchel, Robert Meuchel, John Meuchel, Jerome Meuchel, Elizabeth Olsen and Josephine Swanson; and her grandson Andrew Gingerich.
She is survived by : her children, Jeff Severson (Denise), Maria Severson, Donna Severson, Jennifer Weber (Tom) and Rev. David Severson; and her siblings, Tim Meuchel (Anita), Tina Fausset (Doug) and Tecky LaFeve (Doug). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and by six great grandchildren.
