He was predeceased by: his brothers, Martin and John; and his wife Marlene. He is survived by: his children, James Berres (Linda), Robert Berres and Debra Fry (William); his grandchildren, Amanda Killam (Andrew), Jeffrey Fry, Ryan Fry, Christian Berres and Natalie Case (Brent); and his great grandchildren, Ava and Noah Case.

Memorial donations are requested to St. Leo's Catholic Church.
