He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray and Sylvia; his daughter Ellen Cerovski; his brothers, Chuck Dirkson and Ken Dirkson; his nephews, Brian Halverson and David Dirkson; his sister-in-law Katie Dirkson; and his nieces, Roxann Howser, Betsy VanRaam and Laurie Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Dirkson of Lewistown; his children, Randy Dirkson (Diane) of Glasgow and Sherry Hallquist (Ron) of Hobson; his son-in-law Don Cerovski; his siblings, Joe Dirkson (Pat), Jerry Dirkson (Sharon) and Diana Zins (Brian); his sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Dirkson and Marcy Dirkson; his grandchildren, Kevin Dirkson, Keith Dirkson (Lindsay), Stefanie Smith (Marcus), Jolene Martin, Kyle Cerovski and Kelli Tarver (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Octavian Martin, Leisetta Martin, Quinten Babcock, Kaia Dirkson and Theodore Cerovski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
