We announce the death of Joyce Parenteau of Libby, Montana, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 83. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joyce will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Joyce will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Joyce’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jones and Florence Jones; and her sons, Robert and Frank Erickson. She is survived by: her husband Donald Parenteau of Libby; and her son Tom Erickson (Kris) of Libby. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the City Hall.
