He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Aschinger; his parents, Rimer and Olga; and his siblings, Elmer, Leonard, Alvina and Lillian.
He is survived by: his sons, Dale (Vickie), Bruce (Lisa) and Mark (Shonna). He is also survived by three grandsons; and seven great grandchildren.
