Ruth Stayton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Stayton (Libby, Montana), who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russ Whitefield and Mabel Whitefield. She is survived by: her siblings, Ila Moe and George; her husband Tom Stayton; her children, Daniel (Catfish), Jeanne Crawford of Libby and Catfish Stayton (Sandy) of Escondido, CA; and her grandchildren, Tamara Dar, Eric Stayton of Oceanside, CA and Chelsea Smith of Greeley, CO. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
