He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Epstein. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Pihl of Livingston, MT; his daughters, Ingrid Wren Epstein and Anneli Lillian Epstein; his sister Jessalyn Epstein (Oregon); his parents-in-law, Ron and Desiree Pihl of Pray, MT; and his mother Linda Brewer (Oregon).
Mark carried Ingrid every morning on his back all over the foothills of the Wind River Mountains during the scariest of pandemic years.
