He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Mae Cloninger Sager. He is survived by: his father H. B. Sager; his brother Dr. Bob Sager (Montana) of White Sulphur Springs; his children, Jason Sager (Bridget) and Jennifer Pumphrey (Dennis); his grandchildren, Stephania, Shaelynn, Libby and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Oaklen and Hazel. He is also survived by his family as a great supporting father and grandfather.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory (1705 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808).
