Though Mert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Leese and Ferol Leese; his brother Burton Leese; and his daughter Teresa Leese. He is survived by: his wife Rita Leese of Missoula; his brother Gary Leese (Carol) of Stevensville; and his children, Deborah Leese Odyk (Jack) of Missoula, Linette Lemm (Michael) of Goodyear, AZ and Rod Leese (Sherie) of Kalispell. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
