Marda Southwick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marda Southwick (Malta, Montana), who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Holzhey and Donna Holzhey (Grimsley); her brother Don; her sibling's children, Janice and Von; and her friend Janet Walsh.
She is survived by: her husband Jay Southwick; her children, Paul (Jasmine), Andrew (Michelle) and Heidi (Bo); her grandchildren, Jordann Marie, Jordanne Rae, Darryl James, Christopher, Jaylee, Brett, Lauren, Tim and Kaden; her great grandchildren, Jean, Jeffrey, Oliver E, Dewayne and Oliver A.; and her siblings-in-law, Scott, Colleen and Holly.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilderness Funeral Homes (202 S 2nd St E, Malta, MT 59538). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Malta Lutheran Church (316 S 3rd Ave W, Malta, MT 59538).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Legacy Devers Eye Institute in Portland, through the Legacy Health Foundation.
