He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Peter Spoelstra and Ella Spoelstra (Andriesen); his wife JoAnn Spoelstra (Droge); his siblings, Arthur Spoelstra, Evelyn Izenbaard, Benjamin Spoelstra, Marlys Grevengoed and Janet VanderVeen; and also Joyce Spoelstra.
He is survived by: his daughter Jodene Christian (Gordon) of Eagan, MN; his grandsons, Peter Christian (Laura) and Samuel Christian; his great grandchildren, Theodore, Henry, Oliver and Archer Christian; his sister Eleanor Stevens; and his brother-in-law Gus VanderVeen. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Churchill Cemetery (8060 Churchill Rd, Manhattan, MT 59741). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Manhattan Christian Reformed Church (7950 Churchill Rd, Manhattan, MT 59741).
