It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Blaine E. Bloomgren of Missoula, Montana, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bloomgren and Helga Bloomgren (Sodergren). He is survived by: his mother-in-law Ellen Norris; his wife Ellen of Missoula; his daughter Christina McElmurry (Rich) of Missoula; his son-in-law Dennis Fox of Hardin, Montana; and his grandchildren, Nora of Spokane, Susan, Derek Schafer of Ritzville, Patrick, Holly Fox of Helena, Blaine, Kristine McElmurry of Missoula, Catherine and Travis Walker of Missoula. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church in Missoula or to the University of Montana Foundation, the Blaine and Ellen Family Scholarship.
