We are sad to announce that, on May 6, 2021, at the age of 69, Christine Wallace (Missoula, Montana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Albert Kaul; and her stepfather Elmer Huber. She is survived by: her mother Helen Kaul (Steve); her husband Steve Wallace; her children, Cindy (Dan), Becca and Court (Sara); her granddaughters, Taylor and Abby; her siblings, Nancy (Dick), Mary (Stew) and Allen (Ahn); and her stepsister Kathy Rooke (Chris).

In lieu of flowers, she asked people donate to the Messiah Lutheran Women's Missionary League or a charity of your choice.

“Chris Wallace was a great orchestra teacher. Her selections for sheet music for middle schoolers were challenging, but engaging. Ms. Hyligus (not sure of spelling) was great, too. So was Mr. Beller. I guess it’s easy to be biased when you love classical music, but they were the best!”

“I was fortunate to work with Chris at a local middle school. After my sister died unexpectedly, my niece and her cousin wanted to sing a song at the funeral. Chris offered to accompany them on the piano, even though it was very short notice. She also offered a practice session at her house. The girls sang the song beautifully at the funeral along with Chris on the piano. I will never forget her kindness. A lovely, compassionate person....”
