He was predeceased by : his father Paul; and his brothers, Scott and David. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his children, Alisa, Jeff and BJ (Howard); his mother Barbara; and his siblings, Carolyn (John), Laura, Mary (Luc), Janalee and Peter.

Paul shared his love of flying with everyone he knew and, true to his nature, he donated his time and airplane for several years helping children experience flying through the Young Eagles program.
