He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Walter McLeod and Joyce McLeod; his daughter Jennifer; his wife June; his children, Denise Buxton, Brian McLeod (Victoria) and Katie McPeek (Nathan); his son-in-law Jason Parish; his grandchildren, Jessica Buxton (Brett), Gabbie, Zach McPeek, Bridgette, Malcolm Parish and Michael Hall (family: Stacy Howe, Jordan Newman); his great grandchild Jazzy Nottley; his sister Mary Agnes Sorensen; his nieces and nephews, Lonny and James; his brother Stephen McLeod (Sally); his grandson Kenneth; and his in-laws, Richard and Shirley Sims. He was also cherished by four sister In-laws and two brother in-laws.
